Sarita D. Jackson, PhD., CGBP is a bilingual (English/Spanish) international trade consultant. She is the founder and CEO of the Global Research Institute of International Trade, LLC (GRIIT), a Los Angeles-based global trade consulting firm, which helps companies to minimize their risks and maximize their opportunities to grow globally. Dr. Jackson has worked on international trade projects throughout the United, States, Latin American, Caribbean, and Southern African regions. Her most recent book, International Trade in Services: Effective Practice and Policy, was published by Routledge Taylor and Francis Group. Additionally, Dr. Jackson is a TEDx speaker and adjunct professor. She received her B.A. degree in broadcast journalism and Spanish from the University of Southern California and earned a Ph.D. in political science (emphasis on international political economy) from Brown University.
